Registry Re-Patterned Launch Event Highlights!
13 Apr 2012
Hello everyone and Happy Friday!
With New York’s Tabletop Week about to kick off, we thought it would be fun to share some pics from the Registry Re-patterned Launch Event that we co-hosted with Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton at their beautiful showroom over the winter. What was so special that it required its own party, you ask? Well, as you may know, NewlyWish is all about helping our clients express their style in their registry, and we wanted to come up with a way to reflect that personality in their dinnerware. While the idea of mixing china patterns has started to really take off over the past couple of years, we found that no one currently offers pre-mixed collections that can be added directly to registries on-line. And so our Registry Re-Patterned initiative was born!
To take the concept one step further, we enlisted the help of our wedding industry Tastemakers who are, literally, world-renowned for their sense of style and ability to help couples express their own styles. We invited each of the tastemakers to the Waterford Wedgwood Royal Doulton (WWRD) showroom and each styled a collection – drawing from the entire array of WWRD’s catalogue.
The result is six fresh, new tabletop collections, each of which really reflects the tastemaker’s personality and signature style. All of the collections are available for couples to add as is to their registry on NewlyWish [you can find them here], or to use as inspiration to create their own look. We’ll be showcasing each of the collections right here on our blog over the coming weeks but in the meantime, come join the party and meet our Tastemakers!

Welcome to the party! As guests arrived they received beautiful programs designed by Ceci New York (one of our tastemakers!) a glass of bubbly and were serenaded by guitarist, Nathan Herrera.
